Technical issues

Why am I not receiving the SMS code?

If you experience difficulties with receiving the SMS code, please try the following:

If all the above-mentioned advice is not helping, please contact our support team. Please specify your full phone number (with the country code), date, and time of the last request, and all the additional info you have.

 

Can I receive the verification code via my email?

Unfortunately, we cannot send you the verification form via email. If you cannot receive the OTP, please try to follow the recommendations above or contact your mobile provider.

 

I'm trying to reach my account, but I see Something went wrong page.

If you still face this problem, please contact our support team and specify your email (linked to your account), phone number with a country code and full name.

 

I can't register because my phone number is already linked to another account.

Your phone number can only be linked to one Mindrift account at a time. Most likely, you already registered in the system using a different social network. Try to remember it. If you have any problems, contact the Support team.

 

I don't remember my username or password.

If you don't remember your password, restore it in the social network you used to register on the platform. Mindrift doesn't store any passwords.

Why am I having trouble accessing Mindrift?
 

If you're experiencing technical issues while using Mindrift, please follow this connectivity checklist before reaching out to support:

Check your internet connection:

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
  • Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue persists.

Clear your browser cache and cookies:

  • Go to your browser settings.
  • Find the option to clear browsing data.
  • Select "Cache" and "Cookies" and clear them.

Update your browser:

  • Ensure you're using the latest version of your browser.
  • If not, update it to the most recent version

Try a different browser or device:

  • Some issues may be browser-specific. Try accessing Mindrift using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
  • If possible, check from another device.

Disable browser extensions:

  • Ad blockers or browser extensions like Evernote Web Clipper may interfere with Mindrift. Temporarily disable them and see if the issue is resolved.

 

AI interview

Note: Please make sure to complete the AI Interview using the same email address you used to apply for the position and received the interview invitation.

I’ve completed the AI interview. What happens next?

Please allow up to 12 hours for the system to sync your results. The status on your dashboard will not update instantly. Check back later.

 

It’s been 12 hours and my dashboard still shows the AI interview step. What should I do?

Wait a bit longer. In rare cases, syncing can take more time. There is nothing additional support can do on our side.

 

I had a technical issue during the interview. Can I get a second attempt?

We can only consider a second attempt if you provide clear proof of a technical failure (screenshots, error recordings, etc). Unfortunately, without proof, we cannot offer another attempt.

 

I want a second chance, but I don't have a proof of a technical error. Can I get one?

No. Second attempts are not available unless there is verified evidence of a technical issue.

 

I completed the interview but I received another notification asking me to complete it again. Why?

Don’t worry. If you already completed the interview, the system will update the result automatically. Please allow up to 12 hours for the dashboard to refresh.

 

How will I know if I passed?

After the system syncs your results, your dashboard will update. If successful, you’ll be moved to the next step. If not, you’ll see a notification that the interview was not passed.

 

Onboarding procedures

What does the onboarding process include?

Onboarding involves verification, qualification tests, access to channels, project documentation, and guidelines. We’ll provide clear instructions at each step to help you get fully onboarded.

 

Why didn’t I receive a Discord invitation after getting a Welcome mail?

If you didn’t receive an invitation, please contact our Support team.

 

What should I do if I registered on Discord but wasn’t added to the correct channels?

If you haven’t been added to the necessary channels, please reach out through the Mindrift support chat. Our support team will confirm your status and assist.

 

What are my main responsibilities after joining the project?

Your main responsibilities include completing assigned tasks, meeting quality standards, and following project guidelines. More detailed instructions will be provided in your onboarding.

 

Tests

My test expired before I could complete it. What should I do?

If your screening or qualification test unexpectedly expired while you were still working on it, this usually happens due to incorrect date or time settings on your device.

When your system clock is not synchronized with real time, the platform may assume that your session has already timed out, even if you're still actively completing the test.

Please do the following:

  • Go to your device’s time and date settings.

  • Make sure the time zone is set correctly for your current location.

  • Enable automatic synchronization with internet time, if available.

  • Save the settings and restart your device to apply the changes.

Once you’ve corrected your system time, please get in touch with the support team through the Mindrift chat (bottom right corner of the screen) and ask to reset your test attempt. Our team will verify and grant you another chance if everything looks good.

Reminder: We cannot guarantee an automatic reset — a new test attempt must be requested manually, so be sure to fix the issue first to avoid repeated expirations.

 

 

Can I see my mistakes after completing a test?

Unfortunately, we do not provide feedback on specific mistakes after completing a test. This policy helps maintain the integrity of the evaluation process. However, you can review the guidelines or instructions provided for the test to improve your understanding and performance in future tasks.

 

How is my test score calculated?

Test scores are based on accuracy and adherence to the test criteria. Specific scoring details may be outlined in your project guidelines.

 

Can I retake the test?

Currently, retakes are not available.

 

Images in my qualification test look blurry or broken. What should I do?

If you're taking a qualification test and some images appear blurry, incomplete, or visually broken, this may be caused by using the Safari browser.

Please try taking the test in another browser like Chrome or Firefox.

Don’t worry — this issue tends to happen in Safari. Opening the test in another browser like Chrome or Firefox typically resolves it right away.

 

Tasks

Why aren’t tasks appearing for me in the system?

Tasks may be temporarily unavailable due to pending verification or project-specific requirements. If tasks are still inaccessible, please contact the support team through the Mindrift support chat.

 

What should I do if I accidentally submitted an empty or incorrect task for review?

If you submitted an incorrect task, notify the QA team about it in the project chat immediately. They will guide you on the next steps, which may include resubmitting the corrected task.

 

Why don’t I still have any tasks?

Tasks on Mindrift are not assigned to users individually, and there is no specific timeframe for when new tasks will appear. If you don't see any available tasks, they may have already been completed by other users. Keep checking back regularly for new opportunities.

 

I'm performing tasks on the Mindrift platform and they are not loading.

If tasks on the Mindrift platform aren't loading, we recommend clearing your browser cache, refreshing the page, or trying to access the platform in a different browser. Additionally, disable any ad blockers, the Evernote Web Clipper extension, and other browser add-ons that could interfere with the site’s functionality.

 

Can I get a sample test or task to understand the process better?

In some projects, sample tasks or practice tests are available. Check your project guidelines for more information.

 

Now that I've done the training, am I allowed to start the tasks?

Yes, you can perform any task that appears on your dashboard.

 

What are the next steps after completing a task?

After completing a task, monitor your dashboard for new assignments or updates. Completed tasks may be archived, and feedback may be provided if revisions are needed.

 

Who reviews tasks, and how is feedback provided?

Tasks are reviewed by the QA team. Feedback, including any specific comments, will appear in your task details.

 

What quality standards are applied to tasks?

Each project has specific quality standards, typically including accuracy, adherence to guidelines, and task completeness. Detailed criteria can be found in your project guidelines.

 

I started a task in a Label Studio but had to step away for a few minutes, and now I can't find it. How do I find my in progress tasks?

Finding tasks in progress depends on the interface for the specific project. You can generally use filters to sort the tasks you were doing. Two helpful options are:

  • Annotated by | contains | your email (or login)

  • Completed | is after | <date you began contributing on the task>

This will show you only tasks done by you after a certain date.

 

Is it possible for multiple users to contribute on the same account?

According to the User Agreement, each person is allowed to have only one registered account on Mindrift. You cannot share your account with others or let anyone else contribute under your account. You are fully responsible for all actions performed through your account.

 

Project specific questions

If I decide to leave the project, what compensation will I receive?

If you choose to leave, you’ll be paid for all tasks that meet project guidelines. For further details, please check your project’s guidelines.

 

What are the main responsibilities of a QA Expert?

QA Experts conduct candidate assessments, answer project questions, and review tasks to ensure they meet guidelines. They also provide feedback and edits as needed to maintain quality standards.

 

Can I qualify for an upgraded role?

While we don’t offer traditional promotions, high-performing AI Tutors may earn additional opportunities through bonuses. Some of our Quality Assurance Managers began as AI Tutors, and similar opportunities may be available for those who excel.

 

Have there been any changes to the project this week? Can you run me through them?

How often should I check for updates in instructions and documentation?

It’s helpful to check regularly for updates, especially before starting tasks, as important changes are usually communicated in project channels.

 

What if I missed an important notification?

Review recent announcements in the main project channel or check in the Discord channel to confirm any essential updates.

 

What tools are used for project communication?

We primarily use Discord for communication, though additional tools may be introduced depending on project requirements. You’ll be informed of any changes during onboarding.
