How to clear the cache

A browser cache stores copies of pages, images, videos, and other content you've previously viewed.

It reduces the number of site requests: if the page is already in the cache, the browser loads it directly from your hard drive.

Clear the cache regularly to free up space on your hard drive and prevent pages from displaying outdated content or incorrect formatting.

Select your device type, operating system, or browser:

On a computer:
On a mobile device:
Android:
Opera Mini:
    1. In the browser panel at the bottom of the screen, click .
    2. Select Clear browsing data.
    3. Select the parameters and click OK.

iOS:
Opera Mini:
  1. Click (iPhone) in the browser panel at the bottom of the screen or (iPad) at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Settings → Clear browsing data.
  3. Select Cached images and files.
  4. At the top right, click Clear.

Important: Clearing the cache does not delete saved passwords, but it may log you out of some websites.

Clearing your browser cache helps ensure you see the latest version of websites, fixes loading issues, and frees up storage space.
